I am using these two caution/warning images as inspiration for my own.
video warning ;
I am going to use Illustrator to create mt caution video, the over all process of trying to create my caution was very simple as I was only applying texts and colours.
I have poor editing skill and I did not remember how to add the colour onto the page itself because it did not let me. I had to add the shape(square) onto the page and then use the bucket colour affect to make the background black. I had to stretch the shape before to make sure that it fit the page and that there was no white spaces, that would make my video very unprofessional.
I used the text effect so that I could write down the Warning/caution.
This process took a long time because, whenever I would add the text it would be very small and there would be lots of small texts in the box. I had to enlarge the box and try to delete every single text.
I had to create two different text boxes for each piece of writing so that I could alter them individually. I played with the different fonts and sizes for a bit. I wanted to use a font that was plain because that would have a greater effect then using a text that is very bold and exaggerated.
I had to change the back page to white in order so that I could see the text that I was using.
I changed the text colour to white because it looks more dramatic next to the black background.
I decided to change the warning font to the color red because I think it looks a lot nicer.
Testing audios ;
I created some audios for my documentary. I am not going to use these audios I was just practising to see how I would sound if I was talking on the video.
I took these videos while I was outside, as a result many of my recorders have some outside noise such as people talking the sounds of cars etc. This would be very distracting if it was put in the documentary itself.
Funny enough I did not use any of these audios for my documentary, I ended up making new ones in my room.
Sound effects ;
I wanted to create a similar theme to the Zeitgeist documentary, I noticed that in that documentary they often had a lot of loud banging sounds every so often to scare the audience. I went on YouTube to try and find sounds similar to this. A lot of them were people just hitting random objects. After a while I was going to try to edit on to make the audio deeper and louder, but eventually I did find one.
I wanted to have Hip Hop music in the beginning of my documentary while the fighting show reel was playing, to start of the atmosphere of my video as fresh and boast my audiences attention and energy.
I found a Hip hop instrumental I liked unfortunately a lot of them would not download om video converter, so that took away a lot of valuable time. Eventually I found one but I had to get it from a long video and the editing process took a very long time.
Editing music piece ;
I had to used Video converter to download the music for my documentary fight show-reel.
I used the software Premiere pro to edit my music into my video.
The first thing I had to do was edit the music video individually I had a cut a lot of parts out so it would be easier to merge it into my documentary fight scene.
Eventually I had to just import the complete music video and separate the sections individually so I did not interfere with another video. Once I did this I just made the box for the music very small. I did not know what piece of the music would be edited out i just used whatever was left. thankfully the piece I did edit worked for the fight show-reel.
Once I finished doing that I placed the music box above the fight show-reel and made sure that only the audio was heard and the video would not be shown.
